NASCAR takes backseat to college football

Here we go again, didn't we have these issues last year?
The race is supposed to be on ESPN 2 but college football is not done yet.
I personally do not care. I hate football.
So it says on the bottom to go to ESPN Classic. Heck I have no idea where ESPN classic is on my cable since they moved it. So I had to go on the internet and find out. This is sooo ridiculous.

And did they rename the Speedway in Calafornia? I am confused.
Also what is up with the announcer? He could not remember the name of the series that
that guy stars in?

Jeeez....too many issues when they are racing in California.
Or so it seems to me.

Well now that i vented I am gonna go enjoy my race, hopefully.

Congrats to Joey Logano

well it was the worst kept secret and everyone knew that he was gonna take over
the number 20 car but I still think it is exciting news.
I am excited for him and I think he is gonna do just fine.
Although he is very young still. He has his head on straight and he is gonna
handle it all calmly as he has done so far.
Can't wait to get my fan gear.

Racing things I wonder about

So I think it has been a weird few weeks.
Many things are changing and not all of them I like.
Here are some questions I have and things i wonder about.

Why has nobody snatched up Dario Franchitti for 2009?
Why does Clint have to leave his Jack Daniels car?
Why can't Scott Riggs get a ride?

hmmm, guess this can kinda be a heartbreaking sport, and it is not
always about talent it is a lot of times also about who you know and who wants to sponsor you.

Very tuff and strange at times.

Also have Carl Edwards and Kyle Busch just been horribly arrogant lately or is it just me?

This was a huge crash. Glad to see Bobby Labonte is okay because he hit hard. And Sam Hornish Jr's hit was one of the craziest crashes I have ever seen.
Hopefully everyone is well including all the photographers that were standing right there.

Finally a win for Marcos Ambrose

Wow finally a great weekend for Marcos Ambrose.
What a weekend for him
A great win in the Nationwide race and a 3rd place in the cup race.

Congrats to Marcos. It was time for him. he has done so well since he
has been in the Nationwide series but just never had a win.
He must be the happiest guy in the world and his smile even brighter than usual.

Marcos Ambrose unlucky again

Wow what a bummer for Marcos Ambrose. He is one of the unluckiest guys in the series but what I love about him he always gives pleasant interviews and he always keeps smiling. And always keeps a good attitude. Although today he almost did not manage a smile.

I cannot wait till he wins his first race because I cannot think of anyone more deserving.

Nationwide Race in Canada

First of I gotta say finally NASCAR did some racing in the rain that was exciting.
Formula One does it all the time. It was exciting to watch. It was truly a great race.

BUT i think they should turn back laps a bit before all the crashes under caution happend because lets face it is not the drivers fault that NASCAR did not stop it sooner. Great Drivers crashed out under yellow. I just don't think that is fair.
They should review it. AND fix it.

Well at least i think so!
